We stayed here one night as a brake in a long journey. This hotel has a feel of going back in time, in a positive way. They have choosed to just replace what is needed: some room-furniture (ours were newer than in the photos), bath-room-tiles etc, but not to try to look like all other modern hotels. That is probably why they can keep the prices so low. We had a big room with a big balcony with fantastic see-view. It was very clean and when we arrived it was nice and fresh thanks to the AC. The shower was good. The break-fast had everything, but in disposable packaging. I suppose you do best in to also pack in your food items in your room. There is a very cheap bar with a big terrace by the sea. Be aware that in summer there is dancing until late friday-saturday. Puerto de Mazarrón has several small, beaches protected by rocks. We will go back!

“Beautiful views and friendly staff”

We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Rooms are basic but very clean and we booked 2 sea view rooms which had spectacular views and the balcony was large. Staff are very friendly and cost of drinks at the bar very reasonable. Will definitely be returning.

This is an enthusiastic three star review. The Bahia is not going to win any boutique-hotel prizes. It needs more customers and a lick of paint. But it has a gentle air of decency. This is an enthusiastic three star review. The Bahia is not going to win any boutique-hotel prizes. It needs more customers and a lick of paint. But it has a gentle air of decency. The place is clean, its sea rooms have a fine view and it is low-cost. We stayed for a couple of nights and liked it, not least for its echoes of yesteryear. It has bags more character than the shiny new marble hotels that pollute Spain. The town has plainly been hit hard economically but there are decent restaurants next door in the marina (open until mid October) and at the marina in the town centre.
