“Best Stay”

We were a group of 4 girls. We wanted to have a slumber party feel , so we share the room with the bunk beds and king bed. It was perfect and so comfortable. We were a group of 4 girls. We wanted to have a slumber party feel , so we share the room with the bunk beds and king bed. It was perfect and so comfortable. We arrived really early so went down to their living room/eating area where we had a wonderful coffees made by Giorgio. He was so welcoming. He is such a hard worker! He does so much to make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. He offered us so many helpful suggestions on where to go, eat etc. Everyone was very friendly who worked there. Our group was so happy with our stay. We would definitely come back! I would come back just for the coffee haha!!

“Perfect location”

Delightful hotel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and engaging. Perfectly situated to explore Amsterdam. Only caveat are the very steep and narrow stairs which are typical of stairs in Amsterdam houses which this hotel once was. We would stay there again and highly recommend it.

“717 was blinking brilliant!”

Absolutely brilliant!! The staff, can’t remember everyone’s name but Patrick was brilliant (he has watched a lot of English films), the lady who recommended restaurants, the chap who spoke to us about things to do in the lounge area was just brilliant. The staff, can’t remember everyone’s name but Patrick was brilliant (he has watched a lot of English films), the lady who recommended restaurants, the chap who spoke to us about things to do in the lounge area was just brilliant. So welcoming, nothing a trouble and on hand to support you with your stay. Lovely turn down service of an evening. Breakfast enough to start your day. Great coffee. Thank you, if/when we come back to Amsterdam we will book 717!

“Great hotel, great service and location”

A lovely hotel, excellent service, nothing too much trouble, lovely gifts of soap, chocolate and small room spray , one each evening of our stay. A lovely hotel, excellent service, nothing too much trouble, lovely gifts of soap, chocolate and small room spray , one each evening of our stay. Breakfast continental, good quality, quiche unusual option and nuts for yogurt could be better, a fruit bowl, not fruit salad option. The breakfast waiter was so friendly with perfect service. In my opinion the hotel is a little tired in the entrance and the stairways, our room was very small and not as glossy as the photos, very clean and a lovely bathroom. The throw on the end of the bed was not great , bobbly and in my opinion needs replacing. We were disappointed at being advised by staff that the uber for other guests had been unreliable and offered to order a taxi for us…. This cost 52 euros when we paid at the airport! Our uber from the airport to the hotel cost 26 euros…. !!!!!!!!!! When the driver arrived in a Prada coat we should have know it wasn’t going to be cheap!!!! Check price with hotel staff and I believe the uber would have been ok. A nice hotel in a good location.
