“Friendly and welcoming hotel in great location.”

Pleasant little hotel on the sea front in Puerto Madryn. Staff were very nice and helpful, good breakfast by Argentine standards, although coffee good be better(this is the same everywhere, its basically 'stewed'!). Pleasant little hotel on the sea front in Puerto Madryn. Staff were very nice and helpful, good breakfast by Argentine standards, although coffee good be better(this is the same everywhere, its basically 'stewed'!). Hotel is clean and has plenty of parking spaces out back. Our room was a little small and very 'stuffy'. One small window opened onto a flat roof overlooking inner walls and with no A/C and warm weather it was a bit 'airless'. Was inadvertently double charged(Paid hotel and was then charged via booking site) however the Hotel sorted it out very quickly once I called them, Great customer service.

The hotel itself is in a great location right on the main strip and across from the water. It is within walking distance to ample restaurants and a grocery store. The hotel itself is in a great location right on the main strip and across from the water. It is within walking distance to ample restaurants and a grocery store. The staff are very nice and helpful as well. There is a hotel cat who is friendly and adorable and just the cutest! I love that kitty, I think his name was Rambandito. The room is small with a double bed and there is not a lot of room to move around. You could not have your luggage open and walk around at the same time for example. The mattress is very springy and not comfortable. I have a sensitive back and I did wake up with back pain after sleeping on the mattress. Bathroom is pretty small and the shower floods the bathroom, but it does dry quickly. At first entry into the room, it had an extremely pungent perfume smell to it. At first we thought it was a glade plug in because it was SO POTENT. Then we realized it was whatever the bed linen was washed in. If you are sensitive to smells, the strength of the smell would very likely affect you as it was really potent. Breakfast is served from 7am-10am and there was kind of lots of variety, but 80% of the options were cakes, pastries and cookies. There is cereal and yogurt as well as scrambled eggs. I just found it a bit odd with the amount of cakes and cookies available at breakfast. I would have appreciated more savory options. Parking is included and available at the back of the building (you enter at the side) and it is very secure. I would estimate there is enough parking for about 15 cars. There is an elevator to get to your rooms.
