What a great hotel! Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The sea views from the front facing bedrooms are wonderful. It is simply the best 3 star hotel I have stayed in. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving us plenty of advice on where to eat and directions to places of interest. There is free parking but you have to tell the hotel in advance that you require a space, the parking garage entrance is quite tight and has quite a large kerb on the footpath, so you have to stay towards the middle of the road when approaching the entrance, we decided it was easier to approach from the opposite side of the road. Our room was clean with plenty of wardrobe space and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom area was a good size with separate toilet bidet room. Breakfast was plentiful with a very good selection of cereals, pastries and hot food. The location is perfect opposite the sea and close to all the shops and restaurants. The hotel displays very interesting artwork by a local artist who's wife comes to the hotel in the afternoon to sell or take orders, which gives visitors from foreign countries the opportunity to purchase something unique from this area. As far as value for money is concerned this hotel would be difficult to beat.

When it was impossible to get our normal-sized car into the parking spot we were given in the small parking garage, the very nice guys at the front desk gave us a better spot. We had a beautiful ocean view from our room!

“Very loud seafront”

We stayed 4 nights during our peninsula Valdez excursions. Unfortunately we booked a room with sea view not expecting a insufficient insulation. We stayed 4 nights during our peninsula Valdez excursions. Unfortunately we booked a room with sea view not expecting a insufficient insulation. The traffic and partying people with hammering loud music until morning hours just across the road did not allow for a good rest at night. The hotel wa fully booked and we could not change the room but had to cope with it. Due to the construction of the hotel - the breakfast / cafeteria room was in sort of a patio without ceiling - the noise of people and the kitchen staff could be heard on all floors! This is definitely not a hotel to relax or enjoy a good nights sleep! The advantage is that it is near restaurants, shops and the "boardwalk". The room was clean, the shower at times lacked hot water and the service ok.
