I enjoyed my extended stay (almost three weeks) at the Hualta Hotel Mendoza,Curio Collection by Hilton. As a long-time Hilton Diamond, I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and I can honestly say the staff at this hotel was the absolute finest--none better. From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was terrific--friendly and professional. While there are too many to list individually, the first person I met--Emilia--set the stage for all the interactions. She was positive, friendly, and professional. My room was large and well-appointed, although I was not a big fan of the stainless steel sink and countertop. It reminded me of an airport or stadium restroom, rather than a five-star hotel. The amenities in the hotel were top-notch, and the breakfast in the restaurant was quite good, although it was the same every day. Of course, most guests are not there for as long as I was, so this is an issue more unique to me any other long-term guests. The wi-fi was fast and stable, and the fitness center was OK. But I preferred to run through the local area. The hotel has an excellent location near most of the key business and tourist sites in Mendoza, and easy access to outdoor activities and wineries. Many restaurants and shops are a five-minute or less, walk for the hotel. But, there is a noise issue in this hotel. The outdoor courtyard and the bar are nice, but when there are events, the noise is quite pronounced in the room. And there are times when you either cannot or don't want to attend these types of events, so the noise level makes it difficult to work or get rest. Also, the noise across rooms is a bit more noticeable than what I typically experience in well-regarded hotels, but this is nowhere near the issue as is the noise arising from the outdoor area. Overall--This is an excellent hotel for many reasons--the primary ones being the quality of the staff and the overall quality of the rooms and amenities. However, management needs to address the noise issue to raise the hotel to an even higher level of quality.

My husband and I spent two nights in the city of Mendoza in November. While many reviews suggest skipping the city and heading straight to wine country, we couldn’t imagine visiting Mendoza without exploring the city itself. There aren’t a ton of hotel options and so we chose this one because it was very affordable, centrally located, and relatively new. We were not disappointed. The location was great—right next to the Sheraton. Even though I must highlight that the view from our room was not great. We looked out onto a slightly distressed building however this was not a deal breaker for us. The hotel is small but modern, with a lively lobby restaurant and an outdoor bar that added a nice buzz of energy throughout the day. The rooms are on the smaller side with a minimalist, slightly rustic design—think wine-cellar vibes with lots of unfinished oak. The bathroom was compact and felt a bit tight, but the water pressure was good and the hotel provided plenty of full-sized toiletries. The towels weren’t as plush or bright as we expected, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Overall, if you’re passing through Mendoza and need a place to stay for a couple of nights, this hotel is more than sufficient. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need and is definitely in a walkable, convenient location.

Great location, within walking distance to bars and restaurants. The free wine vending machine is definitely a winner and the wine was top quality. The only downside was the noise, we were unlucky to be there at the same time Boca Juniors were in town so there was a lot of noise from the fans gathe… lisää

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. If im in Mendoza again I would definitely stay here.
