“Well equipped and comfortable”
We’ve not stayed at a motel for years, and I have to say we weren’t disappointed. We thought self check-in was a bit weird first find reception, then find the envelope with your name on it containing the key and then study the map to find your room! “Excellent small motel”
Excellent small motel, great value. Will stay here again on our next visit to Apollo Bay. Easy walking distance to eateries and shops, and 2-minute walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking. Self- check in means late arrival is not a problem.

“Self service clean hotel”
The place is clean and easily accessible. Microwave oven, some crockery and cutlery, kettle provided. Room is spacious. Nice and quiet place. Check in information is sent via email on the day of arrival and check out via key drop. Fast and easy.

“Great base for exploring the area, close to beach”
We stayed here for two nights as we explored the area and were very happy with our base. Good value, spacious room, super clean, clear and timely communication about check-in procedures, wifi etc. It was cold and the heater worked impeccably as did the hot water. “Sandpiper Hotel. The good and bad”
Check in was easy. No reception staff on site. Keys labelled and hanging outside reception in an envelope. Within moments we were in our room without any inconvenience of checking in. Beware though! Instructions for room are on a letter within that envelope, so don’t rip it open, destroying the let… lisää
