Perfect hotel for business trips. Large room, lots of space, somewhere to put your bag. Small but perfectly formed bathroom. Bed and pillow exquisitely comfortable. REALLY fast internet. Breakfast included - excellent buffet on offer.

One night stay here after finishing the WA Variety Bash. Great location and close to the main street and Town Hall where our finale was held. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again next time I visit Kalgoorlie

I recently spent 3 nights at The Plaza in Kalgoorlie. We were there for the Kalgoorlie Cup, so I understand you do pay a premium during this type of event. The location is great, only 250 meters walk to the Exchange Hotel, and Hannan Street. The hotel has been there a long time, but it's been revamped, so it's in o.k. shape. We stayed in a suite, which had a good-sized lounge area and bedroom, along with a bit of a meals area. Strangely there were no plates, glasses (wine), knives, any utensils actually. It was strange to have the drawers and cupboards, but nothing in them. The bathroom, whilst newish, was tiny. It almost seemed like and after-thought, and akin to the sort of bathroom you get on a cruise ship. There was also a water leak on our floor, and whilst they offered to re-accommodate us elsewhere, it was not in a suite, and they were not willing to adjust the price, so we stayed where we were and sloshed through the wet carpet for a couple of days. It's hard to judge value for money when events are on, but my next stay in Kalgoorlie will be back at the Rydges, which is a much nicer property, better priced, but just a little bit of a drive from the main strip.

“A bit disappointing.”

The comfiest bed we have slept on. Fully secure including parking and felt very safe. They state free movies but only if you have your own Netflix or Apple account otherwise free to air is all that's available. The water pressure in the shower is terrible, there was only half a roll of toilet paper… lisää

The comfiest bed we have slept on. Fully secure including parking and felt very safe. They state free movies but only if you have your own Netflix or Apple account otherwise free to air is all that's available. The water pressure in the shower is terrible, there was only half a roll of toilet paper in bathroom. The concierge for the restaurant for breakfast struggled with basic English and didn't have a clue about pricing and quite rude.
