“Great apartments in a fab location!”

We stayed here while visiting Maggie Island for 3 nights. The apartments are located a stones throw away from the ferry terminal so you are off the ferry and checked in to your hotel within 5 minutes. We stayed here while visiting Maggie Island for 3 nights. The apartments are located a stones throw away from the ferry terminal so you are off the ferry and checked in to your hotel within 5 minutes. The hotel is regularly visited by the local rock Wallabies and they are fascinating to watch as the race across the rocks chasing each other and looking for food. Whilst lounging by the pool we got talking to a lovely bloke called Billy he turned out to be the partner of Trudy who checked us in, They are a lovely couple, always offering tips on where to visit and what times were the best to go. They gave us really good advice on the best restaurants on the island and Trudy even let us stay by the pool on our last day as w were booked onto a late return ferry. All in all a great place to stay and run by a lovely couple. I would definately recommend staying there whilst on the island.

“Could be great”

Fabulous location- short walk from ferry and great water views. Very limited supplies in apartment even though we were a family staying for 5 nights (a couple of tea bags/coffee sachets, tiny sponge that had been cut up from a regular sized sponge, not enough soap or toilet paper etc). Fabulous location- short walk from ferry and great water views. Very limited supplies in apartment even though we were a family staying for 5 nights (a couple of tea bags/coffee sachets, tiny sponge that had been cut up from a regular sized sponge, not enough soap or toilet paper etc). Leaflet provided by reception said we needed to go to IGA for anything extra including toilet paper which was ok but seemed a bit light on for a Mercure apartment hotel. No restaurant but short walk to Nelly Bay. One heated pool (3 other pools not heated). Could be so much better if they provided a few extra things to welcome you and things like extra towels especially as they do not service the room unless you stay over 7 nights.

“Don't have high expectations, not even medium expectations”

If I wanted an Air Bnb experience I would have booked an Air bnb. Dirty dishes in the cupboard, unswept entrance, noisy neighbours. For +$300aud I expected way better.
