We had a fantastic time honeymooning at the Falls. Alan our host was very welcoming and looked after us spectacularly; the danishes or croissants he discreetly dropped off each morning were delightful and fresh. The cabins were well provisioned with firewood, breakfast supplies and everything we needed. The location was conviniently close to Montville and a 17 minite drive to Malaney, Alan was very helpful in finding ways to get around if we wanted to have a drink.

“Perfect family weekend spot”

We chose The Falls Manor to surprise my mum with a weekend away with my extended family and it was lovely. More than enough space for 6 adults and 4 kids to relax comfortably and spend some quality time together. We chose The Falls Manor to surprise my mum with a weekend away with my extended family and it was lovely. More than enough space for 6 adults and 4 kids to relax comfortably and spend some quality time together. The Falls Manor was lovely and quiet, had a beautiful warm fireplace and a lovely old-world charm. All our breakfasts were supplied, with delicious local Maleny produce. The outdoor verandah was the perfect spot for a late BBQ breakfast. Bedrooms were very comfy, spotlessly clean all had their own bathrooms. There was a coffee machine and plenty of fridge space. Alan was the perfect host. Thank you ☺️

I absolutely loved my 3-night stay at The Falls, Montville. I was travelling solo, even though it’s often thought of as a couples’ retreat, and honestly, it was the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy some peaceful time to myself. The cabins are beautifully nestled in the rainforest, so you’re surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong. It feels incredibly private and tranquil. The cabin itself had everything I could possibly need, with a gorgeous fireplace and heater that kept it warm and cosy on the cool mountain evenings. The spa bath was another highlight. Nothing better than soaking in the warm spa after a day of exploring the hinterland. The thoughtful touches really made the stay feel special. There were fresh-cut roses, chocolates and an elegant crystal decanter of port waiting in the cabin, which made it feel so welcoming. Even more impressive, a generous breakfast for two is provided for three mornings, and every morning Alan, one of the wonderful owners, personally delivered fresh pastries to my cabin. It was such a lovely way to start the day. Alan and the owners genuinely care about their guests, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my stay. The location is fantastic too. The entrance to the beautiful Kondalilla Falls walking track is just down the road, so you can leave the car behind and walk straight to one of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland’s most spectacular hikes. Whether you’re travelling as a couple or, like me, enjoying a solo getaway, I couldn’t recommend The Falls highly enough. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, exceptionally comfortable, and the perfect base for exploring Montville, Maleny and the surrounding hinterland. I’ll definitely be back!

The cottages are simply exquisite, thoughtfully created with comfort, beauty, and love in every corner. Fresh roses, chocolates, a lovely bottle of wine, and generous breakfast provisions are just some of the many thoughtful touches that make you feel deeply cared for and completely at home. Every detail has been lovingly considered, creating an atmosphere of peace, luxury, and relaxation. It is so much more than a place to stay—it is a sanctuary where lasting memories are made.
