“Garden with a view”

Our unit was nice and clean with a comfy bed, kitchenette, and a garden view. The pool was nice also! I found this unit to be comfortable and cozy! The balcony was a bonus with all the noisy birds out there felt like we were in a jungle - very entertaining!

A large resort set in beautiful, well-kept grounds with plenty of facilities to keep the entire family happy. It's also an easy walk to a small, sheltered beach and rock pools. The rooms are roomy and updated, the bed was comfortable and the compact kitchenette was perfect for being able to self-cater quick meals as needed. There is also an on-site restaurant but we didn't use it during our stay. Check-in was fairly simple although finding your room can be a bit of an adventure to start off your visit! Parking is free and available on-site but there is a limited number of spaces that are undercover and closer to the rooms...so if you arrive later, be prepared for a longer walk and possibly stairs depending on the type of accommodation booked. The resort is positioned a little out of the centre of town, so although perfect if peace and a touch of nature is what you're looking for, you probably do require a car to make exploring Coffs Harbour easier.

“disappointing”

we booked for two nights to explore Coffs Harbour ... we were told at reception that we had a 'lovely big room' ..... the room was fresh looking when we opened the door but it was not 'big' and the tiny bathroom didn't have a basin - that was in the bedroom with the tea making facilities ....so you… lisää

we booked for two nights to explore Coffs Harbour ... we were told at reception that we had a 'lovely big room' ..... the room was fresh looking when we opened the door but it was not 'big' and the tiny bathroom didn't have a basin - that was in the bedroom with the tea making facilities ....so you use the toilet and wash your hands, and clean your teeth beside the tea cups. we found that the shower sprayed water all over the floor, and the toilet seat was ill fitting and uncomfortable. Our window/sliding glass door looked out onto the other building wall, not the delights of sub tropical Coffs.... or the mostly pleasant grounds of the resort. We had dinner the first night of our stay in the resort dining room where the prices were expensive - we were seated by the very casual staff, and given menus and told to order at the counter, then go to the bar for drinks ... no table service and the steak was mid forty dollars. the steak was tasty enough if a little tough, but it and the mash and peas were swimming in the black 'truffle' sauce. My partner ordered chicken schnitzel which was very thin and dry. we shared a crumble dessert and it was good ! we felt like we had eaten in a cafetaria not a dining room.
