Hotel was lovely and clean with wonderful service. I booked this on behalf of my dad as he was travelling into the area for a family event and has a hearing impairment. Hotel were happy to help me make a booking for him over the phone and made a note of his hearing loss aswell. When he arrived he felt very welcomed and had a nice ground floor room with everything he needed for a comfortable stay. My dad had a really good and enjoyable stay with great facilities and services in a good location. Room was clean and exactly what he needed at a reasonable price aswell. Thank you. Greatly appreciated Will definitely stay again when in Glouster and recommend to others headed to Glouster.

We stayed at Buckets Way Motel and were pleasantly surprised by how much character this little budget spot has. Nothing fancy — just clean, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The room had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, basic amenities, good air-con (essential in the heatwave!), a decent-sized mini fridge, free Wi-Fi, and a smart TV. The pool was a standout — perfect for cooling off, and we ended up chatting with a few other guests which added to the charm. The location is great too — walkable to town and close to some excellent food options. There’s no restaurant on-site, but that wasn’t an issue with places like Roadies Café just a short stroll away. The bar is quirky in the best way, with a pool table and a dartboard (worth noting it closes early at 4pm on Sundays but other venues in town). A special shoutout to Frank and Sue, the managers — we had a great yarn with them. They’ve clearly been putting in real effort to improve the grounds and rooms, and it shows. If you’re after a clean, no-frills, friendly place with plenty of personality — and an easy walk to town — Buckets Way Motel is a great choice

This was fantastic value! My room was fresh, bright, super clean and with every thoughtful amenity..I appreciated the chair and table outside the door to enjoy the evening from. “Excellent stay”

We arrived just after 6pm and our key to our room was provided in a lockbox next to our door, fresh milk in the fridge and air con on to keep our room cool. Very thoughtful, thank you. We received a text message from Jim providing us with details of our room etc, so we knew where we’re going to be when we did arrive. The room was bright, clean and everything we needed. Bed was quite comfortable. We ordered breakfast for the morning we checked out, and it was quite filling and delicious, and well priced , thank you! Highly recommend a stay and trying the breakfast too. We would definitely stay again if we return to Gloucester.
