Having very recently returned from staying here a few days & nights. I truly can't speak highly of the short time I spent! Due to the lovely, friendly management and the overall ambience of it! The most comfortable of bedroom & bathroom I had, which were all maintained to the highest order. The closeness to the beaultiful river & its views from the balcony windows! Loved too, also that it was in such handy walking distance to town, all the local eateries & everything else that Nambucca has to offer too! It's one of those real gems! Only wish that it could have stayed here longer! But I know now that I have discovered it... I will definitely will be returning here!

“A nice place for a stopover”

I was looking for a stopover on my way to Queensland and thought I would find a suitable B & B in this area. I took a chance on this establishment and I wasn't disappointed. I was looking for a stopover on my way to Queensland and thought I would find a suitable B & B in this area. I took a chance on this establishment and I wasn't disappointed. There are 3 rooms available and I decided on the Queen room, which had the separate bathroom across the hall. It was a nice set up and having the detached bathroom is better than having an ensuite attached, as it was a larger area but still private. I made good use of the bath after a long days drive from Sydney. The downstairs common area was large and inviting, which I didn't really use it because of my one night stay. It would be very handy if I was staying for a few days or more. The B & B is located a little bit back from the river and the main road, which means there were no traffic or noise issues and a short walk up a hill didn't worry me at all. It gets busy in the school holidays and the restaurants can get booked out, so I had dinner at the golf club nearby. That was a good decision. It would have been a pleasant walk to the club, but it was too cold and dark to walk along the river in the Winter months! Breakfast was great that morning and the host was very pleasant to deal with. It is hard to say anything negative about my experience and booking with them direct saved me a few dollars. I would stay here again.

“Amazing place”

What an an amazing place to stay. Sharon (host) was so welcoming and helpful, pointing out great spots for an evening meal or good swim spots. Super clean with generous room sizes and a little kitchenette. Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

“Delightful Place to Stay in Nambucca”

We loved our stay at The Riverside Rest - perfect location to wander along the river into town and down to the V Wall. Our rooms were really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sharon and Darren couldn’t have been more helpful and our breakfasts were fabulous. Would definitely recommend.
