Simply stay here!!!! from the communication on booking (Sue), directions on how to get there, check in and then everything afterward, it was all impeccable. The staff could not have been more helpful at every turn. It was the weekend of no power for days in Port Stephens and this major event was navigated with ease. The rooms are lovely, fresh and welcoming, aided by the housekeeping staff who were nothing other than delightful. Thank you James, Tara and Dave for turning this weekend around from disastrous to memorable.

“Wonderful stay”

Our family of 9 stayed for 5 nights in 3 different types of rooms around Christmas. All rooms were immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Minor wear and tear such as faulty bathroom door in one of the paperbark rooms made absolutely no difference to the experience. The staff were amazing, t… lisää

Our family of 9 stayed for 5 nights in 3 different types of rooms around Christmas. All rooms were immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Minor wear and tear such as faulty bathroom door in one of the paperbark rooms made absolutely no difference to the experience. The staff were amazing, the facilities convenient and esthetically pleasing, the pool was perfect temperature and well maintained. The included breakfast was always of great quality and plentiful. Our experience was above and beyond exceptions, we will happily return in the future.

“Ok for a one night stay”

Stayed a night to break up a long drive home from a holiday further north. The pool and name is what sold it to me but we were pretty disappointed for the price. Our room wasn’t as clean as I would expect for $330 a night. I do wonder if using some of our Expedia member points has anything to do … lisää

Stayed a night to break up a long drive home from a holiday further north. The pool and name is what sold it to me but we were pretty disappointed for the price. Our room wasn’t as clean as I would expect for $330 a night. I do wonder if using some of our Expedia member points has anything to do with room allocation. You can tell it was a former (ibis?) because you can hear the noise from neighbouring rooms and above all night. The guests weren’t being noisy but you could hear them walking around, flushing toilets and talking. The plastic shower curtain was stained and I don’t think the room had been deep cleaned in quite some time. The parking is also tricky with limited availability and some steep walking involved so consider this if you’re older or less mobile. The pool is great but I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels with more amenities for a lot less. With limited amenities eg. No gym I wouldn’t recommend staying more than 1 night

Poolside dining options are limited if you’re not a fan of Mexican fare. If a get a decent room rate then I might reconsider returning. Time will tell
