Basement parking was available. The reception and checkin was friendly and efficient. The wading pool was great for the three year old and the spa worked well. Q: would we stay here again? A: yes

“Our second time at Beachcomber and won't be the last”

Second time my wife and I have stayed at Beachcomber and won't be the last. First time in a studio apartment and second time in a two- bedroom apartment with second bedroom locked off. Second time my wife and I have stayed at Beachcomber and won't be the last. First time in a studio apartment and second time in a two- bedroom apartment with second bedroom locked off. While both were great, we preferred the two-bedroom apartment as I wake up early and my wife sleeps in late so with a separate bedroom, can close bedroom door while watching TV in loungeroom. Resort in good location within walking distance of main town and beach and Port City Bowling Club. We stayed on ground floor both times as the resort doesn't have a lift and as I am in my 70s, I don't want to walk up and down too many stairs. Still stairs from garage to ground floor but okay. Only disadvantage of ground floor accommodation is no views. We would rather have less stairs than views. Younger people may prefer the views from higher floors. Big spacious, comfortable rooms. Full kitchen and full-size fridge in two-bedroom apartment. More than happy with the rooms. Great value for money deal at Beachcomber through Ocean Road Holidays.

“Lovely resort”

Lovely resort located close to the CBD and beaches. Underground parking included but it’s a very small lot if you have a big car. We were staying on the top floor and there’s is no lift. The apartment was big with2 balconies and foxtel. 2 things that were issues for us was the bed was so uncomforta… lisää

Lovely resort located close to the CBD and beaches. Underground parking included but it’s a very small lot if you have a big car. We were staying on the top floor and there’s is no lift. The apartment was big with2 balconies and foxtel. 2 things that were issues for us was the bed was so uncomfortable and the ceiling fan made a Constant rattling noise so we had to turn it off overall a good overnight stay. There’s also a lovely pool as well and contactless check in

“Comfortable 3.5 to 4 Star”

Good sized apartment, on the 3rd floor. As there is no lift, and no staff around to help, being disabled meant access was not easy, especially as the garage is under the building so moving in and out of the apartment was very hard for us. Good sized apartment, on the 3rd floor. As there is no lift, and no staff around to help, being disabled meant access was not easy, especially as the garage is under the building so moving in and out of the apartment was very hard for us. There is 1 disabled parking spot on William St, but it was occupied when we needed it. They have the 'no contact' with staff thing working very well, with signing in, keys and leaving all done by messages. The apartment was a good size, the beds soft and supporting, the furniture comfortable and all the necessary cutlery etc clean. If you are hoping for a spa for a couple, you will need to be a very small couple, as the spa in in the shower and small. We would go back again, but phone first to ensure a ground floor apartment.

“VERY DISAPPOINTING”

Check in process was a little confusing, apartment presented under parr. Mould in bathroom, dirty shower curtain, visible cockroaches. Check in process was a little confusing, apartment presented under parr. Mould in bathroom, dirty shower curtain, visible cockroaches. Leaking bathroom tap, tv not working, replacement tv randomly turned itself on throughout early hours of the morning. Pool lounge chair broken & remained in service, lack of safety rails leading to pool area. Beds very uncomfortable, & general stale smell remained in unit during our stay. Pool towels not available as mentioned in information booklet in unit.
