We stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 3 weeks whilst visiting our daughter and her husband. We stayed in apartment 404 which is at the rear of the building. We overlooked a building site but it didn't trouble us too much as the workers started early and finished early. It was ok if you kept the patio doors closed! The 'bedroom' was in fact sliding partitions and that too worked quite well. Internally a bit of redecoration is needed (marks on painted walks where pictures, etc had been removed) but the linen was immaculate. Plenty of towels, spare set of bed linen and, most importantly, a top loader washing machine and dryer...invaluable! Good ironing facilities too. Both the kettle and toilet seat broke whilst we were there...kettle was replaced and toilet repaired within 2 days. The staff downstairs were helpful and provided us with anything we needed (a kitchen bin, some wine glasses) there are many restaurants nearby, plus Woolworths supermarket. Main bus routes on Military Road to the city and beautiful Balmoral Beach. We cleaned the apartment prior to leaving although you have to pay a cleaning charge. The cleaners were at the doorway spot on 11:00am on our departure day so if we hadn't been ready we would have felt a little 'rushed' so be ready for 11:00! The vacuum cleaner there was not very good either. Security was excellent with video buzzers in and out. We were glad we had chosen Mint Apartments mainly for the location.

“Fantastic apartment, fantastic location”

Me and my partner loved the apartment and the location, transport right on the doorstep, ideal base we thought for getting around Sydney, definatly stay their again. Lovely coming back to the aircon after a day on one of the fantastic beaches

“Great place to stay”

We stayed here for 10 days and were very happy overall. Well furnished and helpful attentive staff. Great location among many cafes, restaurants, shops and bus routes. It was a clean, secure and quiet place to stay and our balcony had a beautiful view. Extra towels and tea + coffee was a nice touch… lisää

It was a clean, secure and quiet place to stay and our balcony had a beautiful view. Extra towels and tea + coffee was a nice touch. Everything thing you would need for self-catering is provided. The smoke alarm would go off when just making toast which was annoying. Very secure although the fob would only allow you to get the lift to your specific floor which was a little inconvenient as we had family staying on another floor. There is a mandatory $150 cleaning fee to be paid which I can understand but I would always leave somewhere I stayed fairly clean anyway so it was a bit steep. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

“Very comfortable accommodation in a great location”

The one-bedroom apt was fairly well equipped and very clean with comfortable furnishings. There was ample space for 2 to 3 people to share. The location was ideal for a short bus ride into the downtown area; was also great distance for walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was in an ideal location also for bus travel to the north shore beaches of Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl and Dee Why. Also in very close proximity to local restaurants and shops. The staff members were very pleasant and helpful from the time we reserved until we left... with the check-in and check-out processes being very easy. It was a wee bit noisy for the first week of our 4 week stay due to building construction going on in close proximity but it didn't really bother us. The smoke detector was very sensitive even to toasting bread... but really probably a good thing. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.
