My family of 2 adults and a 6-year old boy just spent a very enjoyable 3 days and 2 nights at Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay. Our hosts Matt and Nambok were warm and welcoming throughout the entire stay. Watten Studio which we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and our child loved the interactive farm activities and lovely farm animals so much that he wanted to participate in every session every day. We adults loved the beautiful scenery and peaceful environment. Thank you Matt and Nambok for the well-deserved 5-star family farmstay experience!

“Young family friendly :)”

Our two young children, 4yrs and almost 2yrs, really enjoyed their time. Matt was very patient and inclusive during our stay and especially feeding times, which was a real highlight and kept the kids busy morning and afternoon. Our two young children, 4yrs and almost 2yrs, really enjoyed their time. Matt was very patient and inclusive during our stay and especially feeding times, which was a real highlight and kept the kids busy morning and afternoon. They also enjoyed the sandpit/swing area and we appreciated having the shared deck which had a gate. This allowed our little ones to play with the other 2 families on the deck where we could see them while we cooked dinner. We appreciated the recent renovations also! While staying, we also visited a small section of cedar creek, visited Mt Tambourine township where we found a lovely nature playground and also really enjoyed Canungra which also has a modern playground and Mum & Dad could enjoy a coffee close by. Oh and the glow worm caves!

“Wonderful kids friendly farm stay”

We stayed for 2 nights and were warmly welcomed by the new owners, Matt and Nambok Howard. The cottage was simple but well kept and had all the necessary amenities. The kids got to do two animal feedings a day and they loved it! Even though they were initially a bit scared, Matt was very patient explaining everything to them and introducing the animals individually. They also got to collect eggs and have them for breakfast. He was most helpful in all our requests and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and educational farm stay with kids!

“Great farm stay but pray for good neighbours”

Great stay with a huge but Pros - 1) Our apartment had a rustic charm to it, was cozy, clean and well maintained. Great stay with a huge but Pros - 1) Our apartment had a rustic charm to it, was cozy, clean and well maintained. Kids cutlery was provided and so was triple filtered water (to prevent tummy upset in younger kids). There was also a communal deck with a BBQ pit, foosball table and an assortment of sports equipment for you to utilise on the mini grass tennis lawn, basketball hoop and soccer goal post. 2) Animal feeding (once in the morning and once in the late afternoon) was nice and interactive and we got to meet/feed the animals as well as collect eggs from the chicken coop (only in the morning). Farmer Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable as well, which added to the positive experience. 3) Place was a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of city life yet close enough to amenities/eateries in Canungra and Beaudesert (both ~15mins drive away) . Cons - 1) The walls were thin. We were rudely awakened close to 11pm and again at 6am the next morning from the din of the neighbouring apartment. Loud conversations, the TV, mobile phone ringing, the radio. Personally this is a big downside, especially if you have young kids. But to be fair, it's definitely not Clandulla Cottage's fault and entirely luck of the draw. Overall we had a largely positive experience and will look to return in future. Fingers crossed for considerate neighbours!
