“Great location”

Our double room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. AC, fan, safe, iron & board, table and chairs, fridge, microwave, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. Outside pool views from the terrace. Pool and Spa on site. Should have stayed longer.

“Clean, Convenient and Quiet - just a little tired”

Accommodation was spacious for us as a family of 5, it had a great location. I would just say the place as a whole feels/looks very tired. Rooms are perfectly clean, just dated. The pool area was maintained a little more at the back end of our stay. The spa/hot tub had rough edges due to missing tiles. The pool for a number of days had loose tiles placed on the edge of the pool (I can only assume a guest found these in the pool and made a pile of them on the side), they were cleared away after a couple of days. It to me felt more like an Air BnB, staff reception hours are fairly short and they were various notices that if you called the emergency number you would be fined. Totally understand that they want to avoid staff being called out - just could be worded a little better and make guests feel a little more welcome. Overall, great location, accommodation is clean and the one time I did go to reception I found them friendly. Just be warned in general about Palm Cove - you can’t get a drink or food much after 9/9.30pm.

“Dissapointing,”

We were in room 101. It had a minimal ocean view- a roof was blocking our view, but that wasn't too bad as we were visiting family. The room was very dated- especially the bathroom. We were in room 101. It had a minimal ocean view- a roof was blocking our view, but that wasn't too bad as we were visiting family. The room was very dated- especially the bathroom. To shower we had to step over the bathtub which is not great- as we are in our early 70's we found this difficult to cimb over the tub and if we wanted to open the bathroom window again we had to climb over the tub. Small hand basin, needed more space in general- and we had to ask for a face washer. It is in a central spot for the many restaurants in the area ad directly across from the ocean. Maybe because where our room was, the noise from Pub downstairs could be heard in the evening- also there was moving furniture in the early mornings too. Owner was very friendly and polite, but I'm sorry to say we wouldn't return to that room again- but we don't know what other rooms were like.
