“Comfortable, lovely apartment”

Comfortable, well equipped apartment. We had number 12 and had a wonderful view over the bay. The beds were really comfortable, good air con, everything we needed to self cater. off road parking. The swimming pool was cool, and well shaded from the sun - very refreshing.

We stayed at Sails Unit 9 which was excellent , it was the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday to end the year. We stayed at Sails Unit 9 which was excellent , it was the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday to end the year. The unit was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a family of 2 adults and 2 teens to spread out and enjoy. It was very clean and well equipped to cater for us. Liz was extremely helpful with anything we needed and helped ensure we had a great stay. The unit is just a blocks walk to Horseshoe Bays restaurants, cafes, pub and shops and directly across the road from the beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach front, where there is lots of water activity options. We did the Magnetic Island Jet Ski Tour and highly recommend it if you want to hire a jet ski. It provides a longer experience option, and you get a chance to learn about, see and swim in some of the less accessible bays on the island. Magnetic Island "Maggie" is amazing , the people are friendly and relaxed and the scenery, beaches and wildlife incredible. We used the Shuttle bus to get around the island and to and from the ferry, it was all very easy. We will defiantly be back !

“Beach side oasis visited in the off season Glorious Magnetic Island”

Easily accommodated us as two couples. Rooms spacious and beach front ground floor unit made access to the beach so easy. Unit appeared to have had some nice recent upgrades, although mattresses a little too firm for us bedding otherwise very comfortable. Pool was excellent shaded in the afternoon… lisää

Easily accommodated us as two couples. Rooms spacious and beach front ground floor unit made access to the beach so easy. Unit appeared to have had some nice recent upgrades, although mattresses a little too firm for us bedding otherwise very comfortable. Pool was excellent shaded in the afternoon and easily accessible. Unfortunately to outside of the units appears to be in need or some upgrading and painting but didn't impact our stay. Air conditioning was very good.

“A little disappointing.”

We booked this apartment so we had the option to cook if we wanted to not eat out every night. The first night we found that one of the two hotplates didn’t work. We let the agent Best of Magnetic know but they advised they could get someone to look at it while we were still there. We then found 2 … lisää

We booked this apartment so we had the option to cook if we wanted to not eat out every night. The first night we found that one of the two hotplates didn’t work. We let the agent Best of Magnetic know but they advised they could get someone to look at it while we were still there. We then found 2 dishwasher tablets , 2 dishwashing sachets, 2 green tea bags and 2 black tea bags and one tiny shower gel. Not nearly enough for 2 people for 4 nights. A bit sad really! To go and buy more of these provisions means paying big prices at Horseshoe convenience store or a bus ride back to Nelly Bay. To the IGA. Then you have to buy heaps more than you are going to use. So if booking apartment 5 beware that it’s privately rented and you cannot get the managers on site reception to help. This is provided in your booking confirmation. I’ve never stayed anywhere in the world where you don’t get enough kitchen and showering supplies for more than a day.. Also if you arrive early be prepared to wait around in Nelly Bay until the apartment key is ready at Best of Magnetic - A big waste of time. I would rather have been lying on the beach at Horseshoe bay waiting for the key. Left us thinking where we’ll book next time we visit??
