Fantastic location and apartment with everything you need. Staff are wonderful and go out of their way for you. Stumbled on this place in July and are back already. Will definitely be back again next year

“Sailfish Cove & Excellsior Accommodation Mooloolaba for a Great Place to Stay”

We recently stayed at Sailfish Cove Apartments, Unit 12 on River Esplanade, Mooloolaba, from the 24th of August to the 2nd of September and had a fantastic holiday. Unit 12 is spread over three levels (stairs access only), and has the bonus of a private rooftop area with seating and a Weber BBQ – perfect for summer evenings. From the rooftop you get stunning views across the river and all the way to Mount Coolum. The apartment itself has been nicely updated, featuring a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, large vanity, and a washer/dryer, with a separate toilet. There are two comfortable bedrooms with robes, a spacious open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with stylish furnishings, and a large 55-inch smart TV with access to YouTube, Foxtel, and more. Large front windows with blinds provide both natural light and great views. On the ground floor there’s a lockable garage (better suited to a smaller car – our Honda Civic fit perfectly). The three levels of steps weren’t an issue for us, and the views made them well worth it. The location is excellent – only about 700 metres from the Surf Club, with a lovely riverside walk past the Wharf to get there. Being at the end of a no-through road, the apartments are quiet with minimal traffic noise. Across the road you’ll find the river, parks, BBQ areas, and plenty of seating, plus a footbridge that takes you to shops and cafés on the north side of the river. Management and staff were friendly and helpful – we mainly dealt with Charlie at reception who was excellent, as were Kate and Kirsten. The combination of a great apartment, peaceful location, and warm service made our stay so enjoyable that we’ve already booked to return in November. Highly recommend Sailfish Cove Apartments for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a real Mooloolaba experience.
