This was a good room close to the beach. Stunning views. Cool sea breeze. The bathroom had been renovated nicely. Although the smell of sewer was wafting up from the floor waste. This is an older style motel located in a quiet part of Tannum Sands. The bathroom has been updated, room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. This is an older style motel located in a quiet part of Tannum Sands. The bathroom has been updated, room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. Good value for a coastal location ($155 per night). Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony looking out over the ocean. Undercover parking has low clearance - we just made it with our SUV and roof pod.

“Brief but enjoyable coastal stay.”

I stayed here only for one night. Check-in was quick and friendly and I could park for free anywhere there was a spot. I was on the first level (there is only ground floor and level 1) with a sea view and a view of the pool. Be aware that access to the first level is via stairs, no lift. I had a qu… lisää

I stayed here only for one night. Check-in was quick and friendly and I could park for free anywhere there was a spot. I was on the first level (there is only ground floor and level 1) with a sea view and a view of the pool. Be aware that access to the first level is via stairs, no lift. I had a queen room, with a little kitchenette, that included a microwave, small fridge, kitchen utensils and a sink. The room was very clean and nicely presented. There is wifi available and access to streaming services on the TV. There is a sliding door to a balcony where you can sit at a table to enjoy the view. The queen bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a shower that was hot with good pressure. The place was very quiet, had an air-conditioner, but I found the overhead fan was enough. The location is perfect for access to the beach, walks, shopping (Coles and other stores a couple of minutes drive away), eateries (walking distance to the surf club, a restaurant and a takeaway). You are only 20 minutes away from Gladstone and other tourist destinations, like Lake Awoonga and Calliope. Overall, I really enjoyed my very brief stay here, and would definitely stay here again.
