“Another great stay at Balmoral on York.”
This was our 2nd stay at this great hotel. Highly recommend Balmoral on York - it’s well located (near bars, restaurants - good Indian around the corner ‘Pickled Evenings’, the lovely park, the shopping precinct) and we walked to Cataract Gorge from there. “This hotel was better than hotels I have stayed in which cost twice or even three times as much.”
I chose the Balmoral on York because it was close to where I had to conduct some business, as well as parking and breakfast. It was a great pleasure to stay there. Tim, the owner, ensured the simplest of entries by a key left in a small safe at the entrance and a code to open the front door. Therea… lisää

“A comfortable stay in Launceston”
We had three nights at the Balmoral on York in one of the refurbished city facing rooms. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with a smart TV that enabled us to log onto our home streaming services, The bed was very comfortable. The usual tea and coffee facilities were great. “Decent base”
Good location in Launceston c10 minutes from bars & restaurants. The room was spacious and well appointed, but felt a little dated and would benefit from a refresh.
