“Beautiful ”
Beautiful inn in a beautiful location, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable with pitched ceilings for an old cottage look. “Nice motel, decent rooms but restaurant not open and limited parking.”
Pleasant helpful manager. Small good kitchenette with microwave. Adequate bathroom and beds. Sizeable and space to put suitcase. Better value than Strahan motels. Interesting room with high ceiling makes a bit better than the usual concrete block motel.

“Great scenic spot”
A lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the mountains, in town of rich history. The room was clean with a TV, warm blankets, a kitchenette, and air conditioning. “Good Option”
As travellers who are pretty fussy with our hotel choices, we were pleased with the Gold Rush Inn. There’s not a lot in town and we are a bit worried as the price was amazing, but we needed to stay in town for the Wilderness Railway. “Great restaurant in Queenstown”
The highlight of this motel in its Thai restaurant. Absolutely superb, authentic Thai food and recommend this to anyone visiting Queenstown. Motel itself is clean and well presented albeit a bit out of town. Management are helpful and know much about this town.
