Checked in after 7pm and was greeted warmly by the staff member which was a good start after rocking up without booking ahead. Motels usually are tight for car park spaces and we were towing a trailer so I expected our car would spend the night on the street. No dramas, we were offered the opportunity to leave the car and trailer blocking off one of the 2 entry lanes outside reception. And to keep our stuff safer & well lit the lovely lady left the outside light on for us. Room was immaculately cleaned. Bed was comfy. Couldn't fault anything. Usually there is something in need of a makeover when it comes to accommodation but there was absolutely nothing neglected to make our room (26) seem brand newish. Credit to the owners/managers and cleaning staff. Definitely would stay again if heading to Townsville.

“Good for a Nights stay”

Stayed one night (Room 13, Ground Floor). Hosts Jess and Sam are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was dated and needs some work, but clean and tidy and the hosts are working their way through the rooms. Stayed one night (Room 13, Ground Floor). Hosts Jess and Sam are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was dated and needs some work, but clean and tidy and the hosts are working their way through the rooms. Kettle and toaster in room with cutlery etc. Microwave, fridge and telly as well. Bed comfortable which is all we wanted while travelling through. Cost $130 for the night.

“Clean and convenient. Nothing special.”

Clean modern room (apart from the box air conditioner which was noisy ). A nice renovation to a very old building. Standard amenities. Convenient location with easy car access. A bit expensive for a 3 star motel. At this price point I would expect the inclusion of Foxtel and/or Netflix.
