We have just returned from our stay at Goldfield Units in Bright. We come back every November and always welcomed by the beautiful and friendly Sam and Marco. Our unit has recently been renovated, beautiful roomy kitchen/lounge, bedroom and spacious ensuite. Immaculate, spotlessly clean, and all the essentials we needed in the kitchen. The units back on to the Ovens River where you can relax read a book or sit enjoying a drink while admiring their magnificent and manicured gardens. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the shops or a stroll along the Ovens River to the Canyon Walk. Sam and Marco are wonderful hosts and always on hand to help if needed. We loved our stay and highly recommend the units. Thanks Sam and Marco.

“Goldfield is the place to stay every time you visit Bright.”

We've been coming to Goldfield for some years now, because it's a very nice place to use as a base for exploring the area. We've been coming to Goldfield for some years now, because it's a very nice place to use as a base for exploring the area. This year we were greeted with fully refurbished units, so the kitchen and bathroom were completely new. The kitchen was equipped with a new cooktop and range, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. The bedrooms are very comfortable and had spare blankets for the chilly nights. The new shower was roomy, and the mixer taps work well. Our unit was quiet at night, without road noise intruding. Having the Ovens River meander past the back of the property is a bonus, with walking tracks right there to take you into the town. The hosts are very friendly, and if anything requires attention they will be right onto it. We have every reason to keep coming to Goldfield in the years ahead.

We stayed in the recently modernised and contemporary Unit 6. Stylish and comfortable, the unit was very well appointed and featured a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and excellent shower, possibly the nicest we have had in our accommodation. Goldfield Units are perfectly positioned for easy walking access to the centre of Bright. They abut the beautiful Ovens River, allowing easy access to the Canyon Walk. Marco and Sam were gracious and welcoming hosts, very friendly and always on hand to provide recommendations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Goldfield Units and hope to visit again in the future.
