Nice hotel, helpful staff, but weird window situation in the rooms. Most rooms face other buildings and so you are looking at other apartments or offices. The room has two automatic blinds, one light and one black out. The light blind is mostly for use during the day to block other people from viewing into your room, so you really cannot have a clear window since it opens your room to a public viewing. A little awkward. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.

What an extraordinarily difficult time for the Hotel Industry. As an IHG member I had booked to stay at Holiday Inn on Flinders. All my meetings were cancelled which meant so was my trip. What an extraordinarily difficult time for the Hotel Industry. As an IHG member I had booked to stay at Holiday Inn on Flinders. All my meetings were cancelled which meant so was my trip. Before cancelling the hotel I received a lovely phonecall to check whether I was coming - and when I called back to confirm cancellation it was handled with such professionalism. No qualms and money to be returned. This hotel - and chain - has my ongoing loyalty. Thank you for the way you are handling the crisis. Best wishes to all staff.

Spent 5 nights here and enjoyed the comfort of the beds and general facilities of this modern hotel. The location is 10 minutes walk from the Yarra River and all the leisure facilities it has to offer. Within a 5 - 10 minutes walk you're into a miriad of restaurants and pubs. For those who've not visited Melbourne before (this was our first) it has a massive amount to offer from a tourist point of view. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was 1st class as was service from the staff. A taxi bay is right outside the hotel
