Excellent hotel, our room is a good size. Plus from the 13th floor a great unobstructed view of Melbourne. Also an in-room washer and dryer, microwave, refrigerator, high quality coffee maker, and more than ample counter space in the bathroom area (a rarity these days). Excellent hotel, our room is a good size. Plus from the 13th floor a great unobstructed view of Melbourne. Also an in-room washer and dryer, microwave, refrigerator, high quality coffee maker, and more than ample counter space in the bathroom area (a rarity these days). And plenty of room on the nightstands for all our gadgets---nice!

“Great boutique hotel in a fab location”

A 5-night stay in a Studio King Room, which offered views over the Gardens & Princess Theatre. We were on level 5 so also overlooked a large, corrugated roof. A 5-night stay in a Studio King Room, which offered views over the Gardens & Princess Theatre. We were on level 5 so also overlooked a large, corrugated roof. No problem really but next time I would request a higher floor as I think the views would be even better! A lovely boutique hotel with minimalist stylish décor throughout. We stayed over the Christmas period & even though there was a Christmas Tree it didn’t feel very festive. Just a personal observation but I would love to see more ‘twinkle”  The room itself was fab. Everything you could possibly need & very comfortable. Only a couple of small things that could be better. We did have a problem with the TV reception, no signal & poor image. We were out of our room for over 4+hrs & left the “pls clean’ sign illuminated but came back & not cleaned! There was a slight unpleasant odour in the bathroom area. Maybe because there didn’t seem to be much ventilation. However, we loved our stay here & would stay again & recommend to our friends. The location is spot on, couldn’t be better & the staff were first class.

As a manual wheelchair user I thought the access in the room and around the hotel was great. I think other hotels should look to this hotel for accessibility standards - I would give them a solid 4 out of 5. As a manual wheelchair user I thought the access in the room and around the hotel was great. I think other hotels should look to this hotel for accessibility standards - I would give them a solid 4 out of 5. A couple of minor issues for a wheelchair user would be the height of the air-conditioning/heating unit - I was just barely able to reach it, also because there are only shower chairs available for use, the second time I used it I noticed there were no rubber feet on legs on the legs of the chair which made it slide around on the tiles, which was very dangerous, but I never noticed it until my last night. I was in a 1 bedroom apartment, my wheelchair could only access one side of the bed, so it could be an issue if there were 2 wheelchair users. We ordered pancakes for breakfast, they were nothing like what was described on menu, there were 5 small & very thin pancakes - very disappointed. Overall it was a great stay, staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay there again, great location!
