Beacon Point Ocean View Villas is always the best accommodation we ever had whenever we think of Great Ocean Road & Apollo Bay. This hidden gem situated at Skenes Creek Road which is only 15 minutes drive to Apollo-Bay main town, shops but still you have a chance enjoying the scenic beauty of mountains & great view of the ocean with 180 angle from the top. Another reason we love this place is due to abundant of birds , Koalas on top of some tress and visiting Wallabies during dusk . Hosts Paul & Natasha are always very friendly & very welcoming also they ensure the accommodations always in spotless conditions for our stay with very comfortable beds & linen. Last December 2024 we managed to stay at Sheok at East level with all panoramic breath-taking views . As all cabins are fully equipped with fully-fledged kitchen , outside personal BBQ & washing machine we had nothing be worried for anything. But the greatest disappointment always for us is number of days are not enough when we come to stay here & you wanted to stay for more days . We have stayed at Beacon Point Ocean View Villas for more than 7 times & we cannot think of any other place in Great Ocean Road for our stay than this place . Mario De Costa from Melbourne

“A Definite Winner!”

The point of difference for us Kiwis was being in an elevated bush environment. The bonus was the spectacular view over Bass Strait with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore as a constant backdrop. The point of difference for us Kiwis was being in an elevated bush environment. The bonus was the spectacular view over Bass Strait with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore as a constant backdrop. Did I mention the company (in a nearby tree) of the largest koala I have ever seen? For two days and nights we were able to observe this marvellous creature feeding, sleeping and generally lounging about. On the third day/night, it had moved on to more attractive grazing. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable, with a separate bedroom, a large verandah, and a well-equipped kitchen. Having a washing machine and laundry drying line was a welcome advantage (note: some washing powder wouldn’t go amiss). It was so relaxing that we stayed longer than we had planned - and we had to tear ourselves away. Even without wifi this place is well-worth the short drive out of Apollo Bay.

I loved this place, but I love nature. It was a friend and me. We had a 2 bedroom. It was so homey. We grilled one night. The door on the closet got stuck and I could not get my suitcase out of the closed. I called and a manager came right away. Nice guy. The pillow was hard but the second night I … lisää

I loved this place, but I love nature. It was a friend and me. We had a 2 bedroom. It was so homey. We grilled one night. The door on the closet got stuck and I could not get my suitcase out of the closed. I called and a manager came right away. Nice guy. The pillow was hard but the second night I covered it with my fuzzy blanket and slept well. We cut our ocean rd trip a few hours short so we could get back to enjoy this place. Well worth the 10 mi drive off the beaten path.

This accommodation was everything we'd hoped for. The location was close enough to Apollo Bay to be practice, but far enough away to be peaceful. The view was nothing short of spectacular. This accommodation was everything we'd hoped for. The location was close enough to Apollo Bay to be practice, but far enough away to be peaceful. The view was nothing short of spectacular. We loved the tranquility of the location, and sitting back in front of the cozy fire with a glass of wine. The self-contained 2 bedroom had everything you need for a short stay, but a few little additions could make it even better. Add in some decent coffee (international roast is very 80's motel), and an electric blanket - and you're on an absolute winner! They are just small suggestions that would make a great place to stay even better!
