“Spacious and comfortable”

We had an excellent experience at Swan Hill - the staff were fabulous, fixed a couple of issues immediately. We had an excellent experience at Swan Hill - the staff were fabulous, fixed a couple of issues immediately. We felt sorry for the owners as the place is quite run down, but our room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was a shame that the facilities were in a state of disrepair, but expect they will improve over time.

“Very Tired, But Just Passes”

Once upon a time this would have been a nice resort living up to the name. Now it's pretty run down and not very flash. Once upon a time this would have been a nice resort living up to the name. Now it's pretty run down and not very flash. The whole place is very tired and seems to mostly serve itinerant road maintenance workers and builders rather than tourists. Despite that, I found it to be reasonably clean and the staff were pleasant. I stayed in the front block facing the busy road in a downstairs room and wasn't overly bothered by road noise and no noise from upstairs either. Most of the rest of the hotel is away from the road and probably quieter. Proximity to the Pioneer Village is excellent. Overall a sad reflection on what it once was and a bit over-priced, but just OK.

“looks like a resort does not feel like one”

As far as a resort goes, it cannot be one without a bar and restaurant.It certainly has great pool , green areas to lounge on and plenty of rooms to choose from . Rooms themselves are good and good bathrooms. No where to eat dinner except a walk to the rsl. Noisy at night as it seems popular with t… lisää

As far as a resort goes, it cannot be one without a bar and restaurant.It certainly has great pool , green areas to lounge on and plenty of rooms to choose from . Rooms themselves are good and good bathrooms. No where to eat dinner except a walk to the rsl. Noisy at night as it seems popular with tradies, Breakfast is available but only for an hour 8am to 9am, no good if you need an early start.
