“Perfect Gem in beautiful Bruges”

Went with my sons for Christmas Market of 2025 and stayed here. Perfect location with very modern rooms and facilities. Ideal on the edge of the main street to walk into the centre of Bruges which was ideal

Beautiful hotel perfectly located to most of the tourist attractions. Nice staff. My room was fab, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable, had everything you needed. Great breakfast selection

Not the best hotel in Bruges. Although located close to the heart of Bruges, a wonderful place to visit, this hotel has problems. The lift is inadequate to the number of users who visit the hotel. Not the best hotel in Bruges. Although located close to the heart of Bruges, a wonderful place to visit, this hotel has problems. The lift is inadequate to the number of users who visit the hotel. The Internet advice we received from the friendly late on the reception desk was completed inaccurate. She advised us to scan the Q code on the back of the key folder, which did not work and when I queried this with a friendly guy at the reception, he pointed out that there were instructions a few centimetres from the reception desk that were easy to use to get Internet connection. Besides this the sheets in my room, number 520, were badly stained on the night of 6th October 2025. I did not report this at the time because I didn't want the hassle of having someone come in and remake my room. I am sorry to make these comments, because the hotel is so wonderfully placed in this wonderful town, but in all honesty, choose another hotel.

It is genuinely walking distance to the city centre. The bus hub is 150 m away and they run frequently to the rail station. It claims 4 star but it’s probably a short of that in reality. It is genuinely walking distance to the city centre. The bus hub is 150 m away and they run frequently to the rail station. It claims 4 star but it’s probably a short of that in reality. Its a bit budget for 4 star. I found the staff good. Breakfast is ok, not great but perfectly adequate. The room was clean with a good ensuite bathroom. There is a little fridge, kettle and coffee maker. There are two small lifts. no one is going to be nicking their towels, small ish and worn but again clean and did the job My balcony housed all the air con ducts and looked out over the main fire escape. (surprised but not upset) What was not good: well it has aircon and one night it reached 27C, apparently it can be changed remotely. There is no way you can change it yourself so the night guy came up at 0100 to address it, then at 0730 sharp the angle grinders started as they are doing a big refurb. Several others have experienced issues with the refurb, particularly electrical related. No doubt they will be sorted in time. The lights are weird, some didnt work at all. Odder still The electric towel rail in the bathroom had a programmer 150mm above the floor. In hotels you are better keeping electrical items simple and intuitive, no doubt this lesson will be learnt in time. Overall if you can get a decent price stay here but accept some grief caused by the refurb
