“Excellent hotel”

“Homely,friendly delightful warm welcome”
Whilst all basic comforts are there it is the involvement of Tom his wife and daughters that make for a relaxed satisfying stay. Whilst it is remote it is quiet and peaceful with excellent food, and a good healthy plentiful breakfast.

“Good location for Ghent Visit”
We stopped at Quarante Cinq for 3 nights in December 2018.A small hotel with small number of bedrooms excellent breakfasts but an excellent restaurant serving hearty flemish food in a very convivial atmosphere.

“In a quiet suburb with excellent breakfast”
Chosen to be out of the centre (for a gig nearby) this was a pleasant surprise, and a marvellous breakfast. Bit worried that door was locked when we arrived, but no problem after ringing number; happy with a clean room and comfy bed.

“Nice but hot”
The hotel was in a very nice peaceful area, and the room was very clean. Because of the weather being extremely hot, and no air conditioning in the room or extractor fans in the bathroom the room became very hot. Sleeping was unbearable. A small fan was provided but didn’t help much.
