Was really impressed with this hotel, especially its location - near the new tram line. Checked in by a really friendly chap - Valentine - who solved 2 minor problems for us almost as fast as I raised them. Accor group take note - he needs a promotion! We were in Liege on the hottest days so far this year, and it was a great relief to get out of the heat back to our lovely cool room. So good this hotel has such an efficient heating/cooling system. Incidentally to the reviewer just before us, you can get hot chocolate at the machine a bit further into the breakfast area. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

“Ok”

Good hotel better than ibis opera. They have testy breakfast, many food to choose. Our son very like it. You can go for a coffe or evry time you want. Good localisation. Clean room, we spektakl there one week. Everythinf were ok, we can Connecticut with tv and watch netflix :)€

“Standard Liège stay.”

Our recent stay was mixed. Location was a big positive, as the hotel was opposite the train station. This made it very handy for the day trips we planned. Our recent stay was mixed. Location was a big positive, as the hotel was opposite the train station. This made it very handy for the day trips we planned. Staff were fairly friendly and we were able to check-in a little early, which was appreciated after our long journey. The room was spacious and seemed clean, apart from some marks on the bedding. There were good amounts of storage space and the bathroom was modern. However, there were a few disappointments with the room including: no mini fridge (I would have expected one for the price and due to this being a Styles), only one spare pillow (one per guest should be provided in the room as standard), the shower towels were too small, didn’t notice any evening food being advertised. Also, only one bottle of complimentary water (which wasn’t replenished during our stay) was provided, whereas it would have been better for the hotel to provide two bottles of water, one per guest (especially as both of us are Accor members), so this felt like an incomplete gesture. The room did not get cool easily and it wasn’t particularly hot during our stay. The temperature device only went down to 16 degrees and even then, the room wasn’t cool enough for us at times so we had to have the window open which I don’t like doing. The hotel did offer free tea & coffee for guests, but I don’t drink either and was disappointed that the hot drink machine didn’t provide hot chocolate as an alternative option. The bed was fairly comfortable and we generally weren’t disturbed by any external noise. Apart from the final morning of our stay where ridiculously loud and inconsiderate building work began before 8am! This was very disruptive and we spoke to the supervisor as a result. He was apologetic and made attempts to resolve the situation appropriately for us. Overall, our stay was okay. However, for the price tag and additional expectation when staying in an Ibis Styles, I expected more.
