After a reservation at another hotel fell through, I was able to book here at the last minute. The hotel is an odd cluster of three modern "high-rise" (by local standards) blocks, each providing one very spacious room per floor. A decent breakfast is served in the lobby; in the yard between the two, two alpacas scan you up and down for any sign of spare fruit. The room was modern and well-equipped, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I slept in in Bolivia. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's a bit of a trek from the hotel to the main road/central beach/basilica (~20 mins) (though if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a distinct plus). If nightlife is your thing, be warned that they lock their doors without recourse from 10pm-8am.

Diamond in the rough. Room was spacious and overlooked the courtyard with 3 llamas. This room had 2 couches and floor to ceiling windows where you can see the lake. Breakfast was adequate in the lobby area that is open and relaxed. Hotel was empty at noon, yet my room wasn’t ready. I opted for a r… lisää

Breakfast was adequate in the lobby area that is open and relaxed. Hotel was empty at noon, yet my room wasn’t ready. I opted for a room that was ‘ready’. I had to ask for towels and soap. There’s no heat so I had to rig the push button hairdryer to heat the unit. It’s a 15 minute walk to town, so not convenient. Everything in the hotel had rough edges that need improvement.

The hotel has an amazing view from all of the rooms, but sadly it is a long walk to the city. The rooms are quite small, but to spend a few days here is fine. The hotel looks really new in the photos, but we found it in need of a renovation. The paint was falling of and it feels older than it is. T… lisää

The hotel has an amazing view from all of the rooms, but sadly it is a long walk to the city. The rooms are quite small, but to spend a few days here is fine. The hotel looks really new in the photos, but we found it in need of a renovation. The paint was falling of and it feels older than it is. The breakfast was fine and the staff was really friendly and the lobby was open all day. The laundry service was good and fast.
