We had never been to Itacaré before and we feel so thankful that we chose Ecoporan! From the time we arrived for our weeklong stay the staff was amazing, making us feel so welcome and accommodating us in many ways. The room was just as advertised and perfect for our family of four. One of the nice details was that we were able to reserve a room with a king size bed, which we use at home; also the bed was very comfortable with nice sheets! More about the room - very clean, very neat, climate controlled and super comfortable. The cleaning service was excellent, which we chose to use about every other day. They really did a great job. A couple more things I feel are important to note - the 'quality control' or management department led by Thanmiles was outstanding! They proactively contacted us via WhatsApp shortly after check-in and gave us easy access to them when we had questions about our stay or the facilities. As an example, I had to attend an online meeting during my stay and Thanmiles helped me personally to find a perfect location on the property that had the strongest wi-fi and a great desk setup. In addition and most importantly she helped us navigate the challenge of eating at the restaurant/breakfast while safely managing our son's serious nut allergy. She put us in touch with kitchen staff each morning so we could discuss meals/ingredients---we felt totally comfortable with the food choices (which were awesome all around). We really appreciated the personal attention she so freely gave to us during our visit! One last person that deserves some real recognition and a strong recommendation is Roberio who works on the property in the tourism office that helps arrange day trips. We booked a 'paseo' and he ended up being our guide on the next day for a tour of '4 beaches'. Besides being taken to one unbelievably beautiful location after the next, his personal touch made the day all the better. Being from the area/region, he knew so much about the forest and the beaches and the trails we took. He was gracious with his time, was an utmost professional, and we now consider him a friend who we hope will still be available next time we come back...and we''re already planning to do just that! You won't be disappointed if you choose Ecoporan.
