The 18-floor high building has a pool and a fitness room on the top floor from which a beautiful view of the Guaiba can be enjoyed. The bar on the first floor doubles as a dining room, although not in very busy days; this can be a very convenient dining option in the weekend, when downtown restaurants are closed. Walk-in rates are surreal, but internet prices probably make the Plaza the fairest option in downtown Porto Alegre.
