“Anytime again”

Nice pousada with only few rooms, we got a standalone Bungalow of standing large room , great hospitality you feel like home and in family, luxury breakfast, 5 minutes walk to the main places in 10 minutes at the beach. We liked so much we decidded to extend our stay

“Perfect little sanctuary”

We stayed at Sagui Boutique Hotel for 4 nights while exploring the coast of Bahía. We just came from Santo André, where there was only peace and quiet. Now, we were looking for a nice hotel that offered both restaurants and beach nearby but also a calm and relaxed place to stay. Sagui was perfect for us. The room was great, we noticed the nice decorations that were all in the style of the hotel, and the bathroom was very new and very clean, and featured a fantastic walk-in shower with glass sliding door through which you could see outside (nobody could walk there, so no worries). For me, clean/new bathrooms are a thing (especially when travelling in South America) so I was very happy with our bathroom! The outside area of the hotel was also great: a nice infinity pool with great view over the forest behind the premises, and comfortable lounging chairs by the pool. Also good: the prices of the drinks were very reasonable. In our stay, breakfast was included. This meant that we were served breakfast every morning at the terrace (no buffet). You could just sit still, relax and have your meal. Besides the usual breakfast stuff (bread, cheese, meat, marmelade etc) you could also choose some warm breakfast options such as scrambled eggs or pancakes or tapioca's. This was all really good and also included. As for the location: we had to search for a while until we found the entrance of the hotel, so make sure you know where you're headed. When settled, you could easily walk to the beach or restaurant street, or to the historical center. All just a few minutes away, from 5-10 I guess. On the beach we stayed at a nice place called Jardin d'Ajuda (when entering the beach, head right) and had dinner at a place called Veggie Lounge (part of Pousada Agua de Coco). Both are very much recommended! If you want to see the best beaches, head to Trancoso. This was only a short journey of approx 45 min away by car and will be worth your time. All in all we really enjoyed staying at Sagui and will definately be visiting again when we're in the neighbourhood.

“Very beautiful and welcoming!”

Hidden gem! They had just opened a couple months before we arrived. Everything was super clean, cozy and the owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
