My dad and I stayed here several nights (> 4) while in Campina Grande. The location is great, almost across from the Praca de Bandeira where many buses stop (including one that goes directly to/from the Campina Grande rodoviaria). It is also in walking distance of the market and three large supermarkets (two Rede Compras and one Bon Preco). We like to walk up to the Calçadão (5 minute walk) where there is a good internet cafe (quick internet, 3 BRL per hour) and two good places to eat/drink: lanchonete de Henrique (informal place where you can sit on bar stools if you´re lucky, because it´s popular and busy, and drink all kinds of fresh juices, coffee, and have several snacks) and Coffee & Chopp (small, clean restaurant with a small but good good selection of local plates and sandwiches). The hotel rooms of Onigrat are clean and spacious, although they could do with some maintenance/renovation. A big plus is the hot shower with water that comes from a normal shower head, not one equipped with a water boiler type construction as is common in Brazil. Other plusses: free wi-fi, friendly staff, breakfast as from 6.30 am. Breakfast is okay, could do with some more variety. We paid 89 BRL per night for a room with twin beds and the value we got for that price was good!

Spent a weekend in this hotel to enjoy St Johns party. The hotel is very well located for my purpose (near downtown and near parque do povo). The rooms are very large and full of space altough the hotel is old and need mainentance. The breakfast is good and qith regional options.
