My lovely wife of 40 years (40th wedding anniversary trip) and I just come back from this excellent and tranquil place.Unfortunately our stay lasted only one week. We were accommodated in one of the bungalows located in the tropical garden by the swimming pool.The bungalow was clean and daily maintained by the carrying staff. Well stocked up fridge for our convenience was a great thought from Eduardo- the owner and all around nice guy and an avid kite surfer himself. In the morning we were enjoying a hearty breakfast on a lovely covered deck with a view on to the rough ocean and humming birds on top of cacti flowers just centimeters away. If your choice is to kite surf,you can do it just in front of the Pousada or you can tack up to the Tabuba Lagoa just 3 km south and up wind.At the end of the day nice down winder back to the Hotel.If you are wishing to go to other famous kite boarding spots, the rental of a car will be gladly arranged for you by Eduardo as it was in our case. The place is almost exclusively filled with kite boarders which makes it a very friendly an homey place to stay, not to mention the stories and pieces of advice that are shared and are valuable to make the next day itinerary. At the time we were staying there were couples from all over the world and discussions were held in many languages. We will come back an we think that you should give a try as well.

I was very pleasantly housed in this beautiful and tranquil pousada within walking distance of a great white beach. I stayed in a chalet is very spacious and comfortable, located in a large and lush green tropical garden with a beautiful swimming pool and a beautiful view of the ocean. The morning is an excellent and abundant breakfast served by a very caring and attentive. Great restaurant menu, with local and international dishes. No stress environment, serene atmosphere for those who want to relax and for lovers of water sports, which can also be practiced in front of the pousada. I recommend it!

“Nice stay at a tranquil place”

The Pousada sits one block from the beach and about 20 blocks from the actual downtown of Cumbuco on a residential neighborhood. The Pousada sits one block from the beach and about 20 blocks from the actual downtown of Cumbuco on a residential neighborhood. The Pousada itself is very nice, with a nice pool, open-air patio where breakfast is served and beautiful gardens. I spent 3 nights there with the Family. Even though I was expecting to stay in a bungalow, we ended up staying in a large room in the “main house”. The room was not nice at all, but it was the only one available for our family of 5 during the World Cup. We managed to stay out of the room most of the day, but I kept wondering if the bungalows were actually nicer. The service provided by the staff and the Hotel owner, Eduardo was really good and friendly, no complains at all.
