nice pool and good reception. Suite was nice views on boa voagem beach. Pool-views as well top. Nice bar at the pool, good lounge chairs, excellent wifi (what is not common in Brazil). Elevators a little slow.

This is just to help other people who might be confused about what is going on with this place. I read about it online but I was unable to book it through the Wyndham hotels site. When I was in Recife, I actually went to the building. The manager told me that it was no longer a hotel, and it was not called Ramada anymore. He told me the new name, but my Portuguese is not perfect, I did not understand what he said. You can still rent the units short term or long term. In my case, it was going to be about 50 dollars per night if I rented for one week. They could add daily breakfast for an additional 8 dollars a day. The units on the higher floors (e.g. 24th floor) will give you a very nice view. There is a gym on the top floor as well as a roof top swimming pool. I ended up not renting there, but as I mentioned, I just wanted to write this note here to hopefully clear up some of the possible confusion.

This hotel is also known as the Ramada by Wyndham Recife Boa Viagem. It’s located in a very nice area of Recife, not too far from the airport and about 2 blocks from the beach. They have a covered parking lot which is good because the sun is very strong here. Breakfast is included, and was very nice. The check-in was headache-free thanks to Victor. Our room (1608) was very large: it included a bedroom, living room and kitchenette. The big problem was that housekeeping simply did a terrible job in this room. Besides the windows being covered with fingerprints, we found a used bar of soap in the shower. There was only a half-roll of toilet paper and no back-up in the room. There is a rooftop pool and bar. Unfortunately, the bar was unattended, even though they post the hours of operation. I called the switchboard and they told me somebody was on their way up, but after waiting 30 minutes, we gave up.
