The hotel is located on a beautiful street in the historic centre of Salvador which is dotted with interesting galleries and antique shops and differently coloured buildings - it's picture perfect. It's also a stone's throw from numerous good bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, and we were upgraded to a spacious bedroom which had panoramic sunset views in the evening. Best of all is the service from the hotel's dedicated and friendly staff who are only too happy to assist with reservations and help with recommendations. They even arranged to post by glasses to me which I had accidently left in the room after we had checked out. I would thoroughly recommend staying here for a relaxing stay in Salvador.

I stayed for three nights in the Bahia Suite at Aram Yami Hotel in the historic part of the city of Salvador, Bahia, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was great and in the evenings I would typically have the pool deck (a common area) to myself, enjoying the warm evening and the view. The four people manning the front desk; André, Fabiano, Alice and Laisa (spelling?) were all great and most helpful and I had many interesting conversations with them. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the central part of the city, but I liked this for a couple of reasons; first of all it's an interesting walk to get there, and secondly, the street where Aram Yami is located is less "touristy", but that being said, the entire area has lots of charm and I could easily have stayed a few more days and truly enjoyed it. Would love to come back to Aram Yami and enjoy the truly warm and sincere hospitality.

“Exceptionally Hospitality in the Very Best Location”

For us, Aram Yami was the best place to stay in Salvador. The location is simply outstanding. Unlike many Brazilian cities, the historic center of Salvador is lively, beautiful and safe. For us, Aram Yami was the best place to stay in Salvador. The location is simply outstanding. Unlike many Brazilian cities, the historic center of Salvador is lively, beautiful and safe. It is an artistic, Bohemian neighborhood with many lovely shops and restaurants. The staff are wonderful - so kind, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast every morning was great - delicious coffee and superb tropical fruits, plus a wide range of delicious breakfast items. The hotel is charming - truly a boutique experience. We had the Panoramic Room on the top floor, with two spacious verandas that offered sweeping views of the Bay of All Saints and the historic colonial center on the other side. We absolutely loved it here. Wonderful hotel.
