stayed here for one night while traveling and couldn’t have picked a more convenient hotel so close to the airport — perfect for early or late flights!  From check-in to check-out everything felt smooth and effortless. The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, providing a restful stopover after a long day of travel. The bed and linens were especially cozy — ideal for catching up on sleep before the next leg of the journey.  The hotel’s facilities, including the outdoor pool and dining options, add a nice touch even for such a short stay. The breakfast buffet offered a good mix of local and international options — a delicious way to start the day.  The staff were friendly and responsive to requests, which made the entire experience feel welcoming and effortless. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and great value — especially if you’re flying in or out of Salvador. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a super pleasant stay at Wyndham, especially Renato from the front desk has been exceptionally friendly and nice. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of options.

“Great Option for a Stopover”

Salvador isn’t really on the tourism radar but it is a gateway to places that are, such as Chapada Diamantina National Park. Salvador isn’t really on the tourism radar but it is a gateway to places that are, such as Chapada Diamantina National Park. We overnighted at the Novotel Aeroporto Hangar, a $US12 taxi ride from the airport. This relatively expensive hotel ($US120) is worth the price. There is nothing that can be said against it. Everything is where it should be and everything works. The room is a decent size with a large bed, nice bathroom and good water pressure from the shower. An excellent breakfast is included. There is a restaurant onsite and a large supermarket next door if you require any snacks or supplies for onward travel. There are taxis at the door. The service overall is excellent.
