“Really basic rooms, but surprising kitchen for dinner”

You shouldn´t expect much of this hotel. The rooms are small and outdated, the beds are basic and would need some new matrass, the basthroom is basic, TV only has very few programs. You shouldn´t expect much of this hotel. The rooms are small and outdated, the beds are basic and would need some new matrass, the basthroom is basic, TV only has very few programs. The breakfast buffet is small and acceptable. What me actually really surprised was the dinner with local dishes and fruit cremes. My dinner there was the best food close by. Unfortunately, the breakfast doesn´t match the dinner quality The staff is very nice, attentive and helpful.

“An option close to the historic center”

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, good breakfast. That´s what I can say about this hotel. The hotel restaurant is an option, as 24h room service, but the city has so many options that you´ll prefer choose anywhere else.

“Very much like staying in a mid-level dorm room”

Not really near anything but kind of halfway between beach area and the historic cafe area. I got stuck with a very noisy air conditioner and was woken up at 4 AM by loud street noise coming up through shaft. Internet worked reasonably well 75% of the time. Room was relatively clean. Not really near anything but kind of halfway between beach area and the historic cafe area. I got stuck with a very noisy air conditioner and was woken up at 4 AM by loud street noise coming up through shaft. Internet worked reasonably well 75% of the time. Room was relatively clean. No carpet. Staff spoke very little to no English, but this is par for the course in Brazil. If I went to Sao Luis again, I would stay on the beach since city is very stuffy.
