My first time Belo Horizonte and I booked this hotel online the price and location was good. The staff were all very friendly and tried to assist me as I spoke no Portuguese. I had to leave a day earlier due to being ill with the flu and they refunded me in full and they were very understanding unlike Latam Airline who could not care. The Rooms Division Manager was very kind and so were his team.

“Very good hotel with excellent staff”

You would never believe from the unprepossessing entrance and foyer that this hotel has so much to offer. It is on the main AP avenue only 8 minutes on foot from the bus station yet far enough away to be clear of any undesirable elements that tend to congregate nearby. Local buses to places of in… lisää

You would never believe from the unprepossessing entrance and foyer that this hotel has so much to offer. It is on the main AP avenue only 8 minutes on foot from the bus station yet far enough away to be clear of any undesirable elements that tend to congregate nearby. Local buses to places of interest (parks, Pampulha, Sabara) pass close by. We initially booked for three nights and received 10% discount for a large room with a safe and excellent breakfast. After trips out to places like Diamantina for a few days we would return to this hotel using it as a base for further visits and to our surprise found that we had been given the best room on the floor at no extra charge. The staff are really extremely nice helpful people. Alexandro who lived in London for a while speaks excellent English and contacted other hotels for our trips away. There are two computers with internet in the foyer.

“Pros and cons”

This is a partially renovated hotel in the downtown area. Very close to many historic buildings and busy popular comercial zone, including the fantastic central market. Entrance hall still a bit dated, but rooms are fully renovated. Simple and limited amenities, but good breakfast. Parking is ext… lisää

This is a partially renovated hotel in the downtown area. Very close to many historic buildings and busy popular comercial zone, including the fantastic central market. Entrance hall still a bit dated, but rooms are fully renovated. Simple and limited amenities, but good breakfast. Parking is extra and a vallet that you need to leave the car in the entrance. Very welcoming staff. The area around is not super nice, and it seems unsafe at night.

“A Good Hotel”

We stayed here two nights so we could go to visit Ouro Preto for a day. It was a very easy walk from the bus station to the hotel which is located on a pretty ugly main street. We stayed here two nights so we could go to visit Ouro Preto for a day. It was a very easy walk from the bus station to the hotel which is located on a pretty ugly main street. Inside the hotel is tidy and had welcoming staff. We ended up in a room with a very noisy woman next door and the staff, with no hesitation, quickly changed us to another room on a higher floor with a better view. Great service, thank you. Breakfast was good.
