The apartment is large, with bedroom, bathroom and a room. It was clean but I think that maintenance was not strict: TV´s controls were not working, as well as the key card to use the lift and open the room´s door. The apartment is large, with bedroom, bathroom and a room. It was clean but I think that maintenance was not strict: TV´s controls were not working, as well as the key card to use the lift and open the room´s door. The room service is done through third parties (restaurants in the vicinity) and the dish I asked for took one hour to be delivered. People at the reception was attentive and well-educated. I think the major problem was that in front of the hotel there is a bar with music and people talking too loud till late in the night.

“Awesome flat”

Location: a few steps of Savassi Square (+). Clerk service: fantastic as I had to cancel my 1st booking. Everything done, nothing charged (+). Bedrooms: noisy air-conditioning (-). Breakfast: regular.

Promenade Ianelli is safe, modern enough with decent sized rooms. The one bed apartments are really spacious and a great option for a couple. Promenade Ianelli is safe, modern enough with decent sized rooms. The one bed apartments are really spacious and a great option for a couple. They also have decent water pressure and hot water - a definite bonus in Brazil. Front desk speak good English and are helpful. Gym and swimming pool were fine. There is a construction site close by but it wasn't noisy when we were there. No complaints, a solid option in a lovely neighborhood.

I stayed at Promenade Ianelli for about 6 weeks while on a business trip to Belo Horizonte and had an overall pleasant experience but it certainly could have been better for the money I paid for my stay. Coming to the good stuff, the hotel staff was very helpful all through my stay, the rooms were large and spacious with a kitchenette and balcony and best of them all, the neighbourhood. The hotel being in the Savassi area meant there were a lot of options for food and shopping. There were some things that could have been better too. To start with, the room looked rather old and lacked the finesse I expected when I entered the hotel and saw the lobby. The AC was noisy and bothersome. Add to that, the noise during the night especially during the canival made me wonder if it worth even trying to sleep. The most bothersome thing though was the key card to the room that also had to used while using the elevator. It just wouldn't work in the first attempt and I saw it happen to almost all the guests everyday causing a lot of embarrasment and wasted time.
