Finding a good hotel in São Paulo for a reasonable price is a pretty hard thing to do, nevertheless, by using one of those hotel searching sites one might get positively surprised with last minute deals and special offers. This place is not exactly a fancy five star luxury hotel, however, if you are on a business trip or even visiting the city as a tourist, it is more than good enough, why would you want to be inside a hotel room in the first place. It is well located (depends where you want to be), plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance and for a busy and noisy city like São Paulo it is reasonably quiet. Friendly and helpful people at the reception. Clean, simple rooms with ample space (in fact it is one of those "apartment hotels" ), amenities are just what you need. Although not used, the breakfast looked nice.

The real challenge in Sao Paulo is to find a good value deal. All hotels I have tried in Sao Paulo, be they expensive or “budget”, have not lived up to an acceptable cost-benefit threshold. So I am on a mission to find a real value leader. I will review a series of “budget” hotels in the popular Itaim region that in hopes of finding a winner. All hotels are in the R$300 to R$400 / night range. This was the best hotel I found in the Itaim region in Sao Paulo, although was certainly nothing special and did not correspond the the minimal cost-benefit threshold I was seeking. Excellent location, right next door to the popular Aumary dining strip and Faria Lima. The installations were dated, yet well kept. Sleep quality was the best of the hotels as it is located on a quiet side street. The breakfast and free wifi were above average and certainly the best of the hotels that I stayed at in the region. The “gym” as was the case with all other hotels, was a joke. The staff was gracious and helpful, although they seemed overwhelmed at times due to excess traffic. Was this review helpful? “Decent hotel for decent price”

A bit oldish, being repainted right now. Rooms are actually suites, with a small kitchen, sink, microwave, etc. Breakfast below 6€. Not huge choice, but some fruit, cereal, different breads, pankakes, yoghourts, etc. In summary, good value for money.

Good and reasonable priced hotel (on weekends) located within walking distance from Iguatemi Shopping Mall, one of the best in town. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice pool area although there's no direct sunlight before 11 am and after 16 pm. The hotel offers a free ride (minivan) to the surrounding area "Itaim", but you'll have to ask the reception in advance. A taxi from or to Congonhas Airport costs about US$12-15 and from there you can use one of the many available buses to go to the more distant Guarulhos Airport. If you hold a Diners Club card call them and book your free shuttle. The hotel needs some improvements, but is still all right. Rooms are spacious, with a small kitchen and living room integrated and there's no problem bringing in your own food and drinks. Wi-fi works well and it's free all around.
