We stayed for four nights in an ocean-view (and sunrise-view) room, with a very comfortable bed and a hammock. The room was immaculate and kept clean and organized by the attentive housekeeping crew. We loved the lovely, soft, large bath towels provided. Starting from checking-in (we checked in with Ricardo) and all during our stay, we were made to feel part of a family atmosphere - it is easy to feel this way at Pousada Estaleiro Village because the whole staff is welcoming, friendly, and super-helpful. We enjoyed the tropical buffet breakfast, especially the many fruits served, and also the local cheese bread. Of course, the usual buffet items are present too (eggs, toast, jams, coffee, cereals, etc.). The beachfront is kept clean by the staff, making the golden sand and soothing waves all the more enticing. Recreational equipment like a pool table, foosball, and ping-pong are also available. Overall, the Pousada is a great choice if one wants to unwind, relax, and refresh oneself in the midst of nature (the Pousada is not only a beach resort but also a tropical rainforest, with whimsical surprises thrown in - fancy seeing a mermaid? - there's one here!). We highly recommend it.

Good: + at the sea and at the edge of the beach - so very quiet + with lot of forest being still intact on the ground + great breakfast + international staff + family-run business with great hospitality + kids playground + hangmats in each room + they open the windows and doors of each room during… lisää

Good: + at the sea and at the edge of the beach - so very quiet + with lot of forest being still intact on the ground + great breakfast + international staff + family-run business with great hospitality + kids playground + hangmats in each room + they open the windows and doors of each room during daytime if there are no guests in order to not have any bad smells accumulating there - something that is very effective but I haven't seen yet any other location doing this (but instead, I had lots of smelly rooms already) + room to play with billard and other games + swimming-pool and additional kids pool + lot of green area but also a grass-area to play further games + though quiet, not far to the restaurants and bars + can organize many tours - especially if in larger groups they even have great custom-made tours (I spent my best holidays there!) + fast WLAN accessible in all rooms (not at the beach) + all rooms are really nice and there are various types: - beach view rooms (at least one of them with Jacuzzi even) - garden view rooms with more cozy-athmosphere - houses to stay if you're in a bigger group (you even can cook there) Negative: - I cannot think of anything. It is simply GREAT!
