We just spent a delightful week at the Bristol Hotel. We were in town to visit friends and attend their church nearby. We chose the Bristol because of its wonderful location, and we were very happy with it. The Bristol is not a new hotel, so the room and bathroom were not freshly updated nor newly decorated, but everything was very nice and sparkling clean. The rates are very reasonable, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The wifi was very fast and reliable, the bed was comfortable, the service was very good, the breakfast was delicious, and the lobby is lovely. Most of the hotel staff were very nice, but as other reviewers have noted, many do not speak English; so sometimes we had to use our translator apps to communicate, but that was OK. We were in their country, not in the US. As others have mentioned, the airport shuttle does not run 24 hours a day. We had an early morning flight, so the hotel arranged a transfer for us, but it was not complimentary. Our room was on the 14th floor, so we had a lovely view from our window, and the glass floor in the elevator was always a delight to view while going downstairs. The bell boys out front were absolutely delightful, and we enjoyed chatting with them very much, as a few of them spoke excellent English. We loved talking to Axel and his colleagues; they kept us quite entertained while waiting for our friends to pick us up! I must give a big thanks to Kennedy at the front desk. He was absolutely a miracle worker when the airlines made a mistake in our reservation. Kennedy speaks perfect English, and he has many contacts in the airline industry. Not only was he helpful in correcting the airline's mistake, he also voluntarily did the check-ins for our flights and filled in our Immigration forms for us. Thank you, Kennedy!! Thank you, Bristol. We very much enjoyed our week. We hope to see you again!

“Lovely, convenient hotel near sirport”

We booked a day room - 8 hours - as we arrived in Sao Paolo GRU early morning and our onwards flight was not till evening. Very good value. Reasonable room. Delicious breakfast buffet. We booked a day room - 8 hours - as we arrived in Sao Paolo GRU early morning and our onwards flight was not till evening. Very good value. Reasonable room. Delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus hourly to and from the airport which is 10- 15 minutes drive. Very good service. Note that finding it wasn't so easy on arrival. Have to go to Terminal 2 and follow departure signs for area D. Then between E and D go downstairs to ground level, outside, past taxi point to bus area. The hotel busses leave from the central stands across the zebra crossing. The bus has the name of the Bristol Airport Hotel on the side.

Let’s just say it is sufficient for the rate they charge. The interior is worn down. The phone on the nighttable has a shade of yellow that can only be the result of nicotine storms or 30 years of UV rays. Let’s just say it is sufficient for the rate they charge. The interior is worn down. The phone on the nighttable has a shade of yellow that can only be the result of nicotine storms or 30 years of UV rays. The thing i found most astonishing is that ffor a hotel that claims ‘international’ in its name the knowledge of even the basics of English is shockingly low. Breakfast is good and plentiful and beds were ok. Not for staying during the day but if all you need is a bed and a decent breakfast, this hotel will do.
