“Fab ski holiday”

Just come back from an amazing week, absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Location fab, breakfast and dinner beyond expectations, lovely bar area, great swimming pool

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Iglika Palace in Borovets. The location is excellent, very close to the ski lifts and the center of the resort, which made everything easy and convenient. We stayed in one of the villas, and it was perfect for a family trip—spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was also great and the food was very delicious, with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a great family stay and we would definitely recommend Hotel Iglika Palace when visiting Borovets.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean, which made it very comfortable to relax after a day out. The half-board package offered a great buffet with plenty of tasty options to choose from each day. We also really enjoyed the facilities, especially the spa, which was a nice bonus during our stay. On top of that, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.

“Amazing first ski holiday”

This was the perfect hotel for a first visit to Borovets. It was great value for half board. Since it’s been refurbished the decor is lovely, cosy but modern (ignore the very dated photos on here, those rooms don’t exist anymore!) This was the perfect hotel for a first visit to Borovets. It was great value for half board. Since it’s been refurbished the decor is lovely, cosy but modern (ignore the very dated photos on here, those rooms don’t exist anymore!) We went for the cheapest room so it was quite small but perfectly adequate with the same modern decor as throughout. Nice view of the forest. The food was better than expected with full English style breakfast on top of continental. Lovely coffee from the machine. Dining room busy at times but always had a choice of tables. Ideal location, we used snowmasters for equipment hire which is literally next door, then a few minutes cut through the Rila to get to slopes. Couldn’t be easier. The bar/reception area had a lovely feel on an evening with families playing cards/games on comfy sofas with a real fire. If you wanted some live music can walk 1 minute to the Rila hotel bar (which is much more noisy/busy) Also all the local bars/restaurants on the doorstep. Probably didn’t walk more than 200m for the whole week, but made up for it with skiing! Things to be aware of: need to pay for any drinks with evening meal, even water. Not all staff were as smiley & helpful as we expect in the UK but most were. The bathroom is a wet room so if you use the overhead shower the toilet gets wet. The radiator is good and dried it out really quickly so we weren’t bothered by it. We had an amazing holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to book again for next year.
