Great hotel, great service, great food. We'll be back. The walk to the beach was no big deal. The beach club is better than the one at the Seafire.

This is one of the best run hotels I have ever visited- in the top 3. The service from every member of the staff is exceptional. The hotel and beach are lovely. The food is all very good.

This is a lovely hotel just off Seven Mile Beach by the same folks who developed my favorite SMB hotel, the Seafire. The design is similar - high ceilings, beautiful aesthetics and construction, and thoughtful landscaping. Planning seems to have been done well. The pool and the restaurants have energy but there’s always somewhere to sit even during spring break high season. I highly recommend it as a (comparative) budget alternative to the Seafire’s stratospheric prices. When we stayed the indigo was half the price of the Seafire and the rooms and pool experience are comparable. So far my only (small) gripes are about dining. Although it bills itself as having 5 restaurants, the reality is closer to 3. Bata Bar, Catalina, and Milkberry seem to be more or less merged. The only real difference is where you sit. I was also a little piqued that the front desk accepted a reservation for Pom Pom for my family including my teenage sons but I was told at the door there was an 18 yo minimum and we couldn’t be admitted. Having said that, there’s so much delicious food on the island you won’t lack for choices if you leave campus. The Seafire is also a short walk so you can dine there, too. Be aware that the beach is a short walk away. It’s effectively one city block in distance. Not a big deal but worth knowing. On the plus side, the beach amenities are better than what’s listed. There’s a club offering everything from jet skis to water cars. Pro tip: book harbor view room not ocean view. They are cheaper, you still see the ocean (see pic), and their balconies get shade when the pool gets sun and vice versa. Staff was all pleasant and professional. This is a worthy addition to SMB. Enjoy!

We’ve stayed at Seafire about eight times with this being our first time at Indigo. The entire resort, while nice and newer, feels to be a significant step down from Seafire. The food we purchased was the biggest letdown (expensive and lacked flavor/imagination) compared to Seafire. The walk to the beach and beachside service compared to Seafire was also a big detractor.
