“Great location for a good hotel”

Simple rooms, not much space but we are three. We stopped over for one night, we just needed a comfy room for a good sleep near downtown, the hotel fit the bill perfectly. Simple rooms, not much space but we are three. We stopped over for one night, we just needed a comfy room for a good sleep near downtown, the hotel fit the bill perfectly. Service for us was cordial and helpful when needed. Breakfast had the basic stuff, it was ok. Considering the price and location it is a very good option, specially if you are driving.

“Good location, but in need of some refurbishment”

We stayed here as part of a tour trough S-A. The hotel is nicely located just of the historic centre. The hotel has nice patio's that you can use to lounge around or to have a picnic. The rooms are big enough, however could do with a renovation. Bathrooms are clean but outdated.

“Overpriced”

Staff are pretty friendly except the cook on the last 2 days who looked offended when we asked for more toast as the breakfast portions were minimal. They need to get grain coffee as well. Rooms are ok though windows darken the room, the TV is old and small, tiling in not well finished in the bathr… lisää

“Overpriced.”

Mixed feelings. The staff were helpful when we needed them to be, but at 48 a night (off season), this is more expensive and far less nice than some of the lovely hostels in town. The rooms are basic and FREEZING - no heating, only an electric blanket. The shower was the opposite: water so scalding… lisää

Mixed feelings. The staff were helpful when we needed them to be, but at 48 a night (off season), this is more expensive and far less nice than some of the lovely hostels in town. The rooms are basic and FREEZING - no heating, only an electric blanket. The shower was the opposite: water so scalding I had to settle for a quick rub down in the steam it generated - not much evidence of recent renovation in the bathroom either. The breakfasts are far too basic for the price, too: two spoons of cornflakes, thimble of OJ and a roll only. However, as mentioned, the staff were, if not totally friendly, very helpful, and it's fairly well located.
