I visited Playa Campanario on winter break with my boyfriend, this was the hotel included in the package that we bought in despegar. The hotel is very simple but beautiful, with a great ubication near the coast and El Mar Avenue. It is surrounded by palmtrees and it has a pool, but we couldn't use it since it was winter. The rooms are big, we stayed in a suite with a king-size bed and a private balcony. One of our favorite things about this hotel was the buffet breakfast, very complete and delicious. Also, the view from the balcony is beautiful, giving a very romantic postal of La Serena, totally recommended!

“Great and quiet place!”

My colleague stayed there for a week, and we spent a lot of time there. The location is very nice, except that if you don't have a car it could be very dark at night, so be aware of that. My colleague stayed there for a week, and we spent a lot of time there. The location is very nice, except that if you don't have a car it could be very dark at night, so be aware of that. The room, bathroom and the space itself it was very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool looks very nice although we didn't go in since the weather was still not very warm. The people at the reception are very kind and the breakfast quite fair. My only suggestion would be to have a fridge in each room so we can keep our beverages there, it is inconvenient to bother people at the reception everytime you needed to get something out. In all, very good place, good price and good food, except that they do not offer lunch, but many restaurants are at walking distance.

“Great stay”

Family of 4 had a great stay. The girls had their own room with private bathroom. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok and they made us eggs to order. Play structure was a big bonus. Pool looks nice but too cold to use. It is winter after all. I would recommend for families.

“Very helpful staff”

I stayed there for nearly 20 days and ok there were some problems with internet connection in rooms, there was no safe to leave valuable things but at least the staff were very helpful and always cheerful and nice. The receptionists were so nice..
